1975 honda cb360 cafe racer build

Our good friend Adam at Last Ride Customs picked up this CB360 a little while ago for a couple hundred bucks. Yeah, I know! What a bargain. He’s in the process of turning it into a cheap and b**chin’ cafe racer.

He made it a kick-start only and has started shaving off all the mounts not being used. He made the tail with 3/8″ round stock and 16-gauge steel he formed while it was bent over his knee. The seat pan is 16-gauge steel, foamed, and ready to be covered.

Adam bought the BMX-looking bars off eBay.

He then threw away the front brake and started polishing the parts, saying, “they look brand new again.” The battery has been moved to the front of the swingarm for a cleaner look. Adam plans to install the electrics in the tail of the bike and wants to paint it gloss black. He’s going to crinkle coat the engine black and clean up the carbs.

Says Adam, “So far I’ve got $300 into it, including the purchase of the bike. I am doing this to prove you can build a show-quality bike for under 500 bones.”

Right on, man! We can’t wait to see the finished product.
