When I was 18, my first bike was a 1978 CX500. It had a Windjammer with a stereo that jammed the Doors, the Who, the Beatles, Pink Floyd and the Dead Kennedys as I yelled along, speeding down the road. I loved that bike.
Then I saw this last week:

What a cool CX. It was tricked into a cafe by Slingshot Cycles from Roanoke, VA. Makes me wish I still had that bike.
They’ve built some b**chin’ bikes from rigid XS650 bobbers to CB750 cafe racers. Slingshot also makes a bunch of great parts for folks chopping an old Honda or Yamaha into something personal. It’s as if the constitution had two cylinders.
