Browsing my favorite blogs and Shinya’s is at the top of that list. Ayu posts for him often. Lately they have been involved in the coast-to-coast Cannonball Endurance Run. It’s basically a route from Kitty Hawk, NC to Santa Monica, CA, and to enter your bike cannot manufactured past 1915. The entrants seem to be mostly American-made scoots, because I imagine old British bikes don’t often get transported over the Atlantic just to run a grueling 3000-mile trip.
Regardless, Shinya’s of my favorite builders, he’s running the Cannonball on a 1915 Indian twin and man, does he look wiped out.
The only bikes that are British built are a 1907 ***, a 1913 BSA, and a 1913 Premier.
