these are the latest kawasaki f7 175 cc two-stroke thumpers to come across my desk. these street trackers are the latest busch bros creations. the sweet pair are for sale for an undisclosed amount.
starting with the white one, the guys made the little air dam out of aluminum, pinstriped it and made the brake stay rods out of drilled aluminum. they also coated the cables in white sheathing.
the bikes are for sale as a “his and hers” pair and are relatively similar. lance and danny took eight days to build the black bike, plus a little “fine tuning.”
danny machined the pegs and kicker to mimic “old dirt bike ribbed pegs,” and he did all the brass forming of the tail light and signals, carb boot, intake heat shield, flyscreen, fender trim, and more.
of course these little bikes are great to blast around town on and get great mileage. lance says that when they’re running down the road together “it sounds like a bunch of angry bees.” it seems they might need smaller sprockets to skedaddle over 65 miles an hour. no big deal, i’ll take a bit more torque over top speed in a small-bore tracker.
in all, the pair were built in about two weeks, which is pretty fricking good. now to contact the brothers and surprise your gnarly b*tch with her own tear-around-towner. she deserves it for putting up with all your sh*t.
