j&s accessories launch new site

One of the UK’s leading motorcycle clothing and accessory retailers, J&S Accessories, have recently relaunched their website with a host of new features, all of which are designed to enhance the user experience.

“We’ve included a range of fantastic new features on the site including making it fully secure with an SSL encryption – this is a huge advantage for our customers who can now be assured that they are completely protected when making a purchase on our site.” said Nick Kent, Project Manager and Solution Architect, at  J&S Accessories. “The site has also been completely redesigned giving us a much better structure and making it easier to find what you are looking for.”

“The previous site was 5 years old so was getting a bit tired and dated – we really wanted to update the interface as well as giving our customers a complete one stop shop for both motorbikes and accessories. The new site has achieved all of these and so much more, we’re thrilled with how it has turned out.”

Another of the major upgrades for the new website sees a much improved search function – previously a simple search for a particular brand of helmet would bring up that brand but it would also be followed by every other helmet on the site. The new search function eliminates this problem allowing you to see only the products that you want to find.

“We’ve also added individual pages for each of our 26 stores across the country which means you can find your local shop and a range of information about it. There is now even a stock check option which gives our customers a real time view of products available in any of our stores, so you can check to see if the item you want is at a store before you visit!”

The website boasts brand new product photos, giving you a much clearer picture to go from when you are buying and a new offer of free delivery on all orders over £20 and 0% Finance on purchases of £750 or over (subject to status & credit check – see website for details). All of these new features and additions have been included to give the users the best possible experience when browsing the store.

The website has been part of a much wider project for J&S who have been looking to streamline the process of making product information available on the website in order to give customers the most up to date details. J&S will also be shortly opening 2 new stores.

“The project incorporated a cleansing element on the data that we had available, it took just over a year to complete from start to finish with the website taking around four months to build. We wanted to improve the user experience across the site and everything we have done certainly incorporates that.”

The new website is available to see at the same URL: www.jsaccessories.co.uk and we welcome any feedback you have about any aspect of the site!
