soundgarden telephantasm

Today Soundgarden released a new album. Yes, I said album. Call it a disc if you want, whippersnapper. The album is called “Telephantasm” and it’s a compilation of their biggest hits with one “new” song, “Black Rain,” taken from the “Badmotorfinger” recordings in 1991. Yes, it’s pretty hard.

The video was produced by Brendan Small of [adult swim] fame. I am not sure how he got the go-ahead to put his fantasy band Dethklok into the far superior Soundgarden band video, but more power to him I guess.

Check it:

You can also get expanded versions of the release. One has 12 more songs on a two disc set and there is a DVD with 20 videos, 13 of which you’ve never seen before.

Here is something else from Brendan Small. I like it better.
