meet what might be the most radical suzuki gt550 in the world. the engine is a 36 year-old three cylinder two-stroke in a custom subframe and tail section.
the bike, built entirely by motohangar in virgina, is called “the honduki” for some reason, and won “best in show” at the 2011 fighter fest in carlisle, pennsylvania this summer.
i want to call it “darren sproles” because it’s small and will kick your ***.
some build specs of this beast include:
+ modified kawasaki h1 expansion chambers
+ fiberglass seat pan sporting an elk skin leather saddle
+ customized honda headlight, kawasaki ninja 636 rear suspension
+ suzuki gsxr front forks
the paint and grafix were done by motohangar, as well.
good luck holding on when the throttle is twisted, and am i the only one who wishes builders included the weight of their custom motorbikes? regardless, it’s cool, must be a blast to ride, and i dig it.
thanks to lanesplitter for posting it first.
UPDATE 01.25.11:
guess what?
UPDATE 01.26.11:
yesterday the bike wasn’t sold. there was one bid for 7k. the reserve was not met. now it is up again. same single bid for seven grand. interesting.

Looks great, wish it was a little uncluttered.
